MPK - Łódź Spółka z o.o. is a carrier offering transportation services in public transport within the administrative area of the City of Łódź. The services are performed as commissioned by the City Council of Łódź on tram and bus lines. The way and range of realisation of the commissioned services are defined in the agreement between City Transport Company - Łódź Spółka z o.o. and the City Council of Łódź.

The commission defines in detail:

• number, route description and length of a line,
• number and kind of vehicles used on each line,
• frequency of runs.

Within the structure of the city transport, the following liens are operated by MPK - Łódź Spółka z o.o.:

TRAMS:

• 22 tram lines - from no.1 to 16A and 41, 43, 46

BUSES:

• 80 bus lines, including:
  • 73 day lines - from no.50 to 57, from no. 59 to 93, from no. 95 to 96, from no. 98 to 99,
  • trambus - line A,
  • line L - special line connecting Lublinek Airport with two Railway and Coach Stations: Łódź Fabryczna and Łódź Kaliska
  • 7 night city lines - from no. N1 to N7.
